The following Terms & Conditions apply to your transactions with Jewel Country Gemstones Pvt Ltd. The website jewelcountry.in is owned by Jewel Country Gemstones Pvt Ltd. Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully before using this website. By using this website, you confirm your agreement with the terms listed below. Jewel Country reserves the rights to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time, and in its sole discretion. Your continued use of this website post the changes confirms your acceptance of the changes made. Nothing in these terms should be construed to confer any rights or ownership to the user or any third party.
Users are required to provide basic information and will then be given a user name and password. Registration is a one-time process which along with basic personal information, includes a security verification question (eg. Your mother's maiden name) for confirmation.
Registered members and guests can make online purchases at Jewel Country. To confirm the order, Jewel Country may call up the member and ask a verification question. After the question is answered by the member, Jewel Country will confirm the order. We reserve the right to cancel any order, if the bank refuses to honour any payment transaction made by a member.
The recipient will be required to provide a valid government approved identification proof as mentioned earlier. The value of the order will be mentioned on the external cover for gift packages as well, since it is a mandatory courier regulation. Any applicable tax, including any gift tax shall be borne by the member.
While Jewel Country strives to provide accurate information and representation of its products, some items may appear slightly larger or smaller than actual size due to screen defaults and photography techniques. Sometimes the items may be represented larger than the actual size in order to clearly show details or smaller than the actual size in order to show the entire product.
Since Jewel Country may not own some or any of the diamonds listed on the website, Jewel Country will purchase the diamonds from the third party merchants and traders only after the member confirms the order. In case the diamond(s) get(s) traded before a member makes the payment, Jewel Country will inform the member and recommend an alternate diamond(s). The difference in price with respect to the new diamond(s) will have to be borne by the member. Any excess amount will be refunded by Jewel Country as per our refund policy.
Diamond prices may vary from seller to seller. Diamond prices are influenced by factors like- reputation of the sellers, brand value, design of the jewellery and so on. Our pricing does not resolve the variances in price that are attributable to the various added value propositions provided by sellers. The pricing information available is hence only a guideline. The prices provided are fixed and not negotiable.
While Jewel Country strives to maintain accurate data on the website, errors in the data may occur, including in price, due to system or typographical errors. Jewel Country does not honour erroneous pricing and reserves the right to correct all errors when they do occur. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
We try to make your purchase process easier by giving you multiple payment options like Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Net Banking, Cheque / DD, RTGS, and also Cash on Delivery(CoD), where the maximum order value for CoD is Rs. 25,000/-. We offer an additional discount of 3% on purchase made through Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking. In case of offline payments, Jewel Country will order the diamond(s) only after receiving the money. In case the diamond(s) becomes unavailable after the payment is made, Jewel Country will refund the amount to the member.
At the time your order is placed, we will collect your billing and shipping information. The member, at the time of purchase has to provide details of the person who would collect the package (details as per his/her government approved photo identification). During delivery, the recipient has to provide a valid government approved identification. The delivery shall be considered complete only after the courier agent verifies and confirms the proof of identity. Any of the following can be provided as proof of identity:
A member can change the shipping address until 3 days before dispatch of ordered item/items. For this, the member has to write to firstname.lastname@example.org from the same mail id registered while placing the order. The member will not be able to make changes in the shipping address once the order status is updated as 'Shipped'. The recipient address cannot be changed once the order is shipped. The recipient must not accept the package if it is found to be damaged or tampered with. Only transit insurance shall be provided by Jewel Country and it shall be valid only until the time of delivery.
Our 30 Day Returns Policy allows you to be eligible for a 100% refund, within 30 days from the date of purchase of the product. A product returned will be eligible for either refund, or exchange for another Jewel Country product. Please look at our refunds section for more details. We offer free return shipping within the first 30 days. Jewellery or products purchased can be returned by sending us an email at email@example.com
If required, Jewel Country will resize your ring, free-of-charge, only once, within the 30 days. If the new piece costs more than the existing one, the difference shall be borne by the member.

There is no buy back option for any jewellery purchased through the website. However jewellery purchased through the website can be exchanged for another product from Jewel Country, at any time as per the exchange values mentioned below:
All shipping and handling costs are to be borne by the member. Products being exchanged must not be damaged. All decisions of Jewel Country in this regard shall be final and binding. In case the certificate has been misplaced, Jewel Country will have to get the loose diamond recertified before being exchanged.
Any cancellation of order must be done within 3 days of order confirmation (once Jewel Country receives the payment). Refunds if any, will be made by way of cheque only. Refunds will be initiated only after assessment and confirmation by Jewel Country. In case of returns, the refund will be initiated only after the product has been checked thoroughly. The cheque will be issued within 15 days from the date of confirmation of refund by Jewel Country.
Loose diamonds and jewellery set in diamonds will come along with the relevant diamond grading report (also called a diamond certificate). The certificate will be from a third party laboratory and the details of the certificate will be mentioned at the time of purchase. The side diamonds in the product will not be certified unless mentioned at the time of purchase. Depending on the value of the product, the entire jewellery will be certified either by Jewel Country or a third party laboratory.
These Terms & Conditions will be construed only in accordance with the laws of India. In respect of all matters/disputes arising out of, in connection with or in relation to these Terms & Conditions or any other conditions on this website, only the competent courts at Chennai shall have jurisdiction, to the exclusion of all other courts.
